CityTrex had the vision to produce a podcast series of previews for "Books Sandwiched In", a series of book reviews in Beaufort, SC.
In its second year, the podcast series will have over 140,000 listeners, with several hundred added each week.
Podcast production and online publishing for 2011 and 2012 was fully underwritten by CityTrex LLC.

Mayor Billy does Books
The 2011 Books Sandwiched In series begins with
"Doctor K: A Personal Memoir," reviewed by the son of Doctor K, the Honorable Billy Keyserling, Mayor of Beaufort, SC.
A personal memoir of a Lowcountry family Doctor.
These tales of the Sea Islands (especially of the 1950's, 1960's) are a world away from our 21st century gated communities.
Office visits: $2, house calls: $3.
Birthing was often a stay-at-home event and involved boiling water. The good Doctor K reported at least one cat eyeing the afterbirth in a collection basin.
The Beaufort County ambulance service was a used hearse driven by NASCAR wannabes.
Doctor K kept watch out of his office window for his children while they sailed.

Mr. Frost serves on the Executive Committee of the Lowcountry Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Beaufort Orchestra, as well as Keyboardist for the orchestra. He is also Music Director for the Charleston Spoleto Festival.
